Collaborative 2021 NBA Mock Draft 3.0

Here are our previous collaborative mock drafts if you’d like to compare things how went then versus where they are now. This series will continue on a monthly basis leading up to the 2021 NBA Draft in late July.

Hauls

(teams with 3+ picks)

  • Thunder: Jalen Suggs, Jonathan Kuminga, Marcus Bagley, Chris Duarte
  • Magic: Keon Johnson, Moses Moody, Deuce McBride
  • Rockets: Bennedict Mathurin, Isaiah Jackson, Roko Prkacin
  • Knicks: Kai Jones, Davion Mitchell, BJ Boston
  • Pistons: Evan Mobley, Aaron Henry, David Duke
  • Pelicans: Corey Kispert, Herb Jones, Julian Champagnie, Max Abmas
  • Raptors: Josh Giddey, Isaiah Livers, Neemias Queta

I absolutely love the hauls that the Thunder, Magic, and Rockets brought in. Knicks also had a fun trio filled with two upside swings + Davion, who seems like he’d be a rare rookie that Thibs would love.

Notable picks

  • Most surprising fall: Scottie Barnes to Memphis at 16.
  • Favorite 1st-round value plays: Tre Mann to Denver at 25 & Alperen Sengun to Brooklyn at 27.
  • Top 2nd-round value play: Cam Thomas to Philly at 48.
  • Best overall value/fit pick: Jared Butler to Milwaukee at 32.
  • Favorite team-fit: Franz Wagner to San Antonio at 14.
  • Top sleeper pick: JT Thor to Utah at 30.
  • Top undrafted players: Daishen Nix.

Big thank you to everyone that jumped in! Stay tuned for next month when we release our 4.0 version as the draft talk intensifies and we bump it up to all 60 picks and I’ll even throw in some undrafted free agent signings for 10 teams.
